Sarah’s experience as a licensed counselor has included working with children, adolescents and adults with a wide variety of issues. These issues include trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, and relationship problems. Sarah’s specialties and areas of interest include trauma and attachment, depression and mood disorders, anxiety, children and adolescent issues, family issues, women’s issues and spirituality. Sarah’s approach to therapy is supportive, emotion-focused and nonjudgmental. Sarah utilizes a variety of techniques to assist you with identifying and replacing negative thoughts, processing through your feelings, and creating your personal goals in order to help you develop coping skills and improve your overall functioning.  Sarah also focuses on relationship and attachment issues as patterns of relating can make a huge impact on daily functioning. 

Sarah lives in the country with her husband, 5 year old daughter, 14 chickens and 1 dog.  Sarah enjoys spending time with her family in the country as well as camping as much as possible.  Sarah and her family are outdoors often and enjoy the peace and quiet that country life brings.
