Samantha is originally from the Chicagoland area but has lived in Virginia for the past five years. Her focus is to provide a safe and encouraging therapeutic environment that will allow her clients to increase self-actualization and awareness and find healing. Her graduate education has focused on crisis and trauma care, family systems, and psychopathology. She has previous experience conducting play therapy sessions with children and adolescents. Additionally, Samantha has outpatient experience working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and trauma related symptoms. In her free time, Samantha enjoys exercising, hiking, and hanging out with friends and family. She enjoys water sport activities and loves going to the beach! As a resident in counseling working toward licensure, Samantha plans to increase her knowledge in play therapy while at Living Water Counseling Center. She is also interested in including faith-based interventions in her counseling session, upon the request of clients.
