Since 2008, Camille Townsend has had a heart for walking with others through past trauma to help find healing and redemption in their story. Her passion for the counseling profession has resulted in a variety of opportunities to expand her skills with those striving to overcome anger, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, and unhealthy relationships.
Beyond outpatient counseling, Camille has almost 2 years of clinical experience working in an inpatient adult psychiatric facility. She spent her time leading psychotherapy and cognitive therapy groups, met with patients one-on-one, and assisted in family therapy sessions.
In addition to working in the counseling field, Camille is an adjunct instructor for a local university. She enjoys being able to connect with the college age group, as well as help students in attaining skills that set them up for academic success.
In her free time, Camille enjoys spending time with her husband and son, working out, and relaxing with her friends. As a teen, she spent summers in Ocean City, NJ, and now finds nothing more relaxing than sitting on the beach and listening to the ocean waves.
